The Outlook Social Connector is a set of new features to help keep track of your friends and colleagues while enabling you to grow your professional network. The Outlook Social Connector is available now as part of the Microsoft Office 2010 Beta.
つい先ほど Twitter で拾った情報ですが、Outlook 2010 には Social Connector というものが組み込まれ、そこに各種の情報を接続できるとのことです。 つまり、Twitter や Facebook などのクライアント機能を、Outlook 2010 に集約できるというふうに解釈できます。
もちろん、デフォルトでは SharePoint と Windows Live が設定されるのでしょうが、以下の図に示されるように、Network Provider 3、４、、、 と、ビルトインのための領域が確保されている感じです。
